Objective: Create a cohesive, festive visual campaign to promote Christmas gift subscriptions and brand-specific holiday offers.
📝 Overview
Hearst’s annual Christmas campaign spans several of its top lifestyle and fashion titles. As a Graphic Designer, I worked across digital and print touchpoints to deliver a campaign that felt festive, premium, and brand-aligned — while also driving conversions for magazine subscriptions and holiday promotions.
🎨 My Role
I was responsible for designing a wide range of assets, ensuring consistency across all platforms while tailoring visuals to each brand’s identity.
Digital Assets
Animated and static social ads
Web banners and homepage takeovers
Email campaigns and festive newsletter headers
Subscription landing page visuals
Print Assets
Magazine advertorials and gift guide layouts
In-store promotional posters and inserts
Subscription offers featured within editorial spreads
🎁 Creative Direction
Developed a flexible visual theme that worked across multiple Hearst brands — modern yet festive, with each brand’s unique tone and aesthetic
Incorporated Christmas motifs like gift wrap textures, metallic accents, and rich color palettes to create a luxury feel
Focused on clear CTAs, gift value highlights, and strong visual hierarchy to drive engagement and conversions
💡 Highlights
Delivered over 100 digital and print assets under tight pre-holiday deadlines
Contributed to the campaign’s overall success, with notable increases in subscription uptake during the peak retail window
Collaborated with brand editors, marketers, and photographers to ensure assets felt both editorial and commercial
🧠 Takeaway
This project was a brilliant example of how strong, flexible design can unite multiple brands under one campaign. It challenged me to adapt quickly, think across platforms, and deliver polished, impactful work at scale.
